Sexiest Femme Fatales

Most people hear the phrase Femme Fatale and think about Film Noir. But alot of the sexiest ones were in films made after. One only has to think of Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct or Kathleen Turner in Body Heat to see that there continues to be a great abundance of these roles.

So, who were some of the sexiest?

Well you have.....

Barbra Stanwyck in Double Indemnity

Ava Gardner in The Killers

Ava was super in this. She was sexy and sultry. Probably her coolest role.

Lana Turner in The Postman Always Rings Twice

This is one of the best from the film noir period.

Neve Campbell and Denise Richards from Wild Things

The famous pool scene, and the twist ending.

Nicole Kidman from To Die For

Meghan Fox in Jennifers Body

Megan Fox gets a lot of flack, but this was an awesome role. It was much better than the movie Juno---same writer. Amanda Seyfried and Meghan Fox were great. Great Femme Fatale.

Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman 2

Linda Florentino in The Last Seduction

Thats a good list for mainstream movies. When you get into slasher and horror films, then you have a whole new set. These women are often called Scream Queens. But I picked the ones who did more than just scream and were the driving force of the show. A classic scream queen that wasn't a femme fatale is someone like Jamie Lee Curtis.

Women like

Robin McLeavy from The Loved Ones

This was a fantastic movie. Really unusual. Normally in the horror films, the Lillian is a guy and the girl is the hero, the Final girl. This movies turns that upside down. This is another example of why Australia is making the best horror out there.

Sheri Moon Zombie--The Devils Rejects

She has the classic look of a 1970's horror vixen yet she's doing modern horror with her husband Rob Zombie. She was awesome in Devils Rejects and was also in his other films: Halloween, House of

Beatrice Dalle-- The Inside

A terrifying role. She is a fantastic french actress. She has the most unusual look. This is a great  film.
